A brand new website for professional DJ’s was launched on the 4th July.
The website is a joint ownership project between Ian Forest (SEDA Vice-Chairman and former owner of mobileDJforums.com) and Darren Thomas (joint owner of the Mobile Disco Directory) and was set up to cater for the needs of professional DJs all over the country.
Ian Forest explains:
It’s been a very long process, almost a year in fact but we felt that it was necessary to listen to people on other forums, Facebook and at networking groups so that we could get a better understanding of what people wanted. We know It’s not going to appeal to everyone, but we do know that but there is a clear need for a website like this, and now it exists.
Darren Thomas adds:
Having been involved within the DJ community with forums, associations and other mediums, both Ian and I felt the time was right to join together and create a place where professionals can come with like minded colleagues to discuss, share and learn and raise their business profile to the next level.
The DJ Community is unique in that applicants must match or exceed very specific membership criteria and must also pay a fee. In return they will be able to access premium content not found on other websites and converse freely with other professionals in their chosen profession without fear of ridicule over their choice of speaker system and lighting.
