As SEDA develops, so the benefits grow. Bi-monthly SEDA Show Nights are full of fun, information, networking, training and great presentations of equipment and systems from the industry and specialists all based around the DJ. Add to this the chance to physically meet and chat with the biggest pool of knowledge around, the other DJs.
SEDA has designated technical members with the latest advice on electrics and electronics, tax, accounts, insurance, web design, advertising, promotions, and trade contacts to help with the buying of equipment.
Each full member recieves an annual subscription to Promobile Magazine, which is a great read and packed with news and reviews from within our target market.
Our latest addition is the DJ Workshops. This gives our members a chance to develop their skills and inderstanding on such topics as DJ mixing, mic techniques, DMX and programming of lighting, electrical wiring, first aid and safety. Many more are being planned to help our members.
The committee of SEDA is constantly talking to industry representives, gaining some great prices and information on all the latest gadgets and concepts to enter the marketplace.
Promotions, advertising and increasing public awareness are three of our goals for our members thereby assisting the member so that when the public wants a Disco or DJ they think Seda DJ, with the knowledge that this is safe and reliable high quality choice.
Finally, we come to emergency cover; should any member have a problem getting to or even at a gig, help is at hand. We are in the process of producing an emergency card to help our members get nearby assistance in order to get the problem sorted, this could be electrical failure of an amplifier, or even feeling unwell and needing a replacement DJ to cover.
