Banana Power Travelling Discotheque - legendary entertainment since 1966

If you are looking for a truly experieced dj who is a safe pair of hands to cope with any style or size of function then Theo is your man. From village halls to royal palaces, 1940's music to today's charts and teenagers to octogenarians Theo has done it all.

Theo started djing in Norwich in 1966 and won the Radio Luxembourg Scotch Cassette DJ of the Year contest in 1974.

He has worked for Mecca, Top Rank and at many top clubs and hotels in London and around the country. Well known as a writer for Music Week, Disco International, Mix Mag and Jocks Theo has also been a successful record plugger responsible for many hits including Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Fame, Footloose, Flashdance, Ghostbusters and artistes like Level 42, Shakattack, Whitney Houston etc.

Theo is honorary president of the South Eastern Discotheque Association and a former chairman of the Disc Jockeys Federation of Great Britain. He has appeared on many national and local radio stations and acted as a compere at numerous concerts, events and cabarets - working with many international stars and celebrities.

Theo was founder of the Disco Aid charity which raised many thousands of pounds and later became the Dance Aid Trust.

Theo took up line dancing and competed at the national finals in Wembley and teaches regularly.
